TBI have extensive experience at installing IT into schools. We can help you with many aspects of your ICT needs from reduced cost maintenance to full network setups.

Here are some examples of the sort of work we have undertaken:

Broadband Internet
Converting schools from the expensive and slow ISDN Internet Access to ADSL Broadband is one of the most popular services we offer. Moving onto broadband will suddenly make Internet based lessons more of a practical concept - we know how difficult it is trying to keep a classes attention when Web Pages do not appear.
Fast Internet gives the staff confidence in IT; teacher Internet usage increases massively in Broadband enabled schools.

Wireless Networks
Laptops for use anywhere in the school. It's a brilliant idea, and allows the schools' IT resources to be applied wherever needed and not just in the computer suite. Imagine - Just book out a bunch of 5 wireless laptops and take a group of pupils into the library for research. Use the Internet, print the results from the nearest handy printer, then return the Laptops when you've finished. (Teachers like wireless too!)

CD ROM Servers
CD ROM's contain a lot of Curriculum targeted material. The trouble is - where is that CD when you need it? We supply CD Servers for use on the network. All the CD's are stored on a central Server, and are ALL available ALL the time for use by pupils and staff.
Very popular.
